Void magazine sent sixteen photographers across São Paulo to document nightlife from 6pm to 6am for a whole week. The assignment, commissioned by Samsung via its agency to showcase the then-new Samsung S22, began as a photography issue. After the agency censored a large portion of the images, it later agreed to finance an uncensored edition published by Void. The project subsequently expanded into a film. My role combined fieldwork and post: shooting, magazine co-edit, film edit, and motion graphics. For the launch, a site-specific projection installation extended the work into the space.

As part of the museum’s renewal, the visual identity and exhibition graphics were rebuilt for the permanent collection and two shows. Scope spanned print, video, digital and social channels, invitations, and promotional materials, unified by a modular system and consistent typography. Exhibition identity and gallery graphics included wall text, section panels, object labels, and promotional print, delivered as reusable templates and standards. This supported immediate programming while establishing foundations for future exhibitions.

Guided by the goal of bringing justice closer to the public, the work prioritized plain language, clear hierarchy, and legibility; titles, dates, and curatorial texts were standardized for quick scanning, and file kits, type scales, and layout rules were documented so the museum’s team can produce new materials autonomously, ensuring continuity over time. The result is a clearer, more approachable presence that helps the museum communicate its collection and program to broader audiences.

The feature documentary Falklands Malvinas: a War Diary follows war journalist Ricardo Pereira as he revisits an Argentine soldier’s diary he discovered during the Falklands conflict. In the final months of his life, he seeks its author and proposes a return to the islands, shaping a last story of memory, loss, and reconciliation. Opening titles and motion graphics, including a library of editorial graphics (intertitles, lower-thirds, and geography/time markers), were developed to articulate this arc. As the diary guides the narrative flow, a hand-drawn treatment with gestures inspired by William Kentridge was chosen to set a reflective, historical tone. After Effects was used to build the collage base by layering fragments from various videos into compositions, then Procreate was used to hand-draw the final piece frame by frame. Watch here

CloseDesign and creative direction for musician and producer Yamila. The visuals were developed for Iras Fajro, her debut on Forbidden Colours, to promote and support the album across video, stage, and digital release. Responding to its dreamy, nostalgic atmosphere, archival footage was slowed, blended, and reworked into layered sequences that reflect the tension between electronic rhythms and a fragile voice, with contributions from Clark (Warp) and Niño de Elche (Sony). Combining live VJ techniques with motion graphics, the work brings together crisp rhythmic structure and warm, organic textures in a restrained visual language shaped to move with the music.
